I joined EnVie Fitness after a skiing accident when I was 5 weeks pregnant. At the time I was looking for a gym that I could continue to train at throughout my pregnancy as well as work on my rehabilitation from my skiing accident.

As someone who has always been health conscious and keen to keep fit, it was important for me to continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle for the duration of my first pregnancy.

Upon my first visit with Alex in a large leg brace it was then I felt that EnVie was the best place for me to train. Even with my brace and baby on board Alex assured me that the EnVie team would be able to help me achieve my goal of getting back on two feet and maintaining a good level of health and fitness throughout the nine months.

Despite my hurdles, the support and encouragement the EnVie team provided, enabled me to continue exercising safely into my last trimester. I was given lighter options in the group training classes and my personal program was also modified.

Upon my return to training following the birth of my daughter, I learnt the importance of ensuring that my pelvic floor was stable.

I am grateful for the time and effort the EnVie Team has given and shown me. With their assistance and ongoing support I have been able to regain my pre baby strength and fitness. I have achieved and gone beyond my post baby goals keeping me encouraged to keep challenging myself to achieve more.
